Healing is a journey. Let’s get you connected to what you need. If nothing else, therapy offers a safe space to be witnessed on your path, whatever it may look like. Your free consultation is an opportunity to chat about what’s been going on for you, what you might be looking for in a therapist, and get scheduled with me or someone on my team as soon as you need.
Who can I work with?
In a commitment to better serving my community with high quality therapy utilizing the tools, trainings, and modalities that I so deeply believe in, I am expanding my practice to include other therapists with similar passions. For now, you can learn more about Maggie and Kedri by exploring the about pages on this site. We’ll determine in our consultation what makes the most sense for your needs!
What can I expect during my first therapy session?
Your first session is a space for us to get to know each other better. We’ll settle in, relax, and make sure you feel comfortable! I’ll be asking lots of questions about all the different factors in your life to try to best understand your history and all the experiences that not only bring you into therapy at this time, but also make you, you. We’ll also be curious together about what’s coming up in your nervous system as we talk through some of these facets of you. It’s also a space for you to ask me any questions you might have, for us to brainstorm some hopes & goals together, and above all else, for you to feel heard and held.

Good Faith Estimate
The No Surprises Act requires healthcare professionals, including therapists, to provide good-faith estimates of medical items or services for uninsured (or self-paying) individuals. This is in an effort to help you better understand what you can expect to pay for services. You can ask your healthcare provider for a good-faith estimate before you schedule a service. For questions or more information about your right to a good-faith estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
Insurance & Sliding scALE
I am not panelled with private insurance, however I can provide a “superbill” (a formal insurance statement) for you to submit to your insurance company for out of network reimbursement. Your reimbursement depends on your policy, but generally, once you meet your Out of Network deductible, our sessions would be eligible for full reimbursement.
In an effort to make therapy feel accessible to all individuals, I offer a sliding scale on a financial need basis. Please reach out to inquire about sliding scale options if you’d like to work together but my fee is a barrier.
Cancellation Policy
I ask for 48- hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. My cancellation fee is the full fee of your session. If we are able to reschedule in the same calendar week, I will waive the cancellation-fee. If I do not have the availability, or you are not able to reschedule within the same calendar week, I will charge the full fee. Life happens!- Anything that can reasonably be understood as an emergency is exempt from this policy.
